Help with Zendrive stripboard build

I’ve built this from the Dirtbox layouts layout.
I’m not getting any clipping, and cannot for the life of me see what is wrong. I can remove the drive pot and the thing sounds the same

I’ve confirmed there are no stray solder bits connecting rows (there looks to be one in the last pic,
Bottom left but it’s been dealt with and no change).

I think @spi might have it..

On a side note: I build with stripboard quite a lot, and have my own very anal ways of designing the layouts! If the board is to go into a 1590B enclosure I figure you may as well use a 19-20 column wide layout. There is an obsession within the stripboard community (it seems to me!) to see how small you can get the layout. Sometimes that leads to trying to cram too many bits into too small an area. On this layout for example not enough space is allowed for the 100µF cap IMO. Why not just increase the width of the board by two columns and give that cap room to have a solid connection and not interfere with other components?

I like how you have allowed for that and not trimmed the board too small. You've left enough room for the 100µF cap - you are almost as anal as me!

The diode is fine. I even swapped for another and still nothing. Tested for continuity between the cuts, all is good. Tested the 2N7000’s, Pinouts are as they should be. Took the mosfets out, put in sockets in case I cooked them, and put new 2N7000’s in and still nothing. I basically crank all knobs just to get unity gain and a slight amount of grit. It doesn’t jive with what I’ve seen on YouTube, but maybe that’s how this is supposed to be?
