How many of you think Carbon Comp Resistors age well?

Yes. All of the vintage CC resistors I have tested were on the high side and few were in-spec. This one is an extreme example, it's at least 40 years old. I don't assume any CC resistors are in-spec. I rarely use them and when I do, I test 'em.

Yeah yeah, I know, my LCD has a bit of an imperfection. This old Fluke has to be at least 22 years old and has hit the floor more times than the bodies in a Drowning Pool song. It's my favorite little meter though. It don't do much, but what it does do it does very well. (Lightning fast continuity tests)
