How many pedals?

45 or so since 2019. Have all except for the few I gave away. Lots of "oh yeah, I built that, I need to that out again" moments.
 
I've built 66. Probably gave about 10 of those away, and took apart 5 I didn't like to repurpose parts. The rest I still have--definitely more than I need or use.
 
I started in ~May 2024. In my spreadsheet I have 94 marked as completed and a backlog of 30. But I stopped tracking for a while, and didn't count botched builds from glitchy PCBs I laid out, duplicate builds, or some random pedals. I'd guess I've populated about 200 PCBs, boxed 90, and of those 90, did UV designs for about 60.

I've kept almost all of them. I sold one so far and gave away 4-5 as gifts. A few are sitting at the local music store and I plan to drop a few more off there this weekend.
 
No idea how many I’ve built. Hundreds by now. Sold some, gave a bunch away. Now that I can design circuits to work for me I’m picky as hell, so I usually bin the JLC box after I’ve got em in and built one or two as well 😂

Most of my friends are musicians so they are easy special occasion gifts. 🤷‍♂️

I think I might have one or two I kept around but they’re just in a box somewhere.
 
I've built maybe 50 or so over the past two years. Finding time to paint the enclosures between winter and other projects is the bottleneck for me. Also, sometimes I'm just burnt out or not inspired. Right now I'm seeing traces everywhere I go and it's giving me ptsd about trying to make everything fit. This morning I ignored my alarm because in my sleeping stupor I imagined it was on the ground plane and I'd rather deal with the power traces for the time being.

I mainly build to find nice sounding overdrive circuits and maybe a cool modulation. I have a core few that I like to use, some others I don't like to use but they came out really nice so I don't want to sell them, some that have sold, and others that are waiting to sell. I'd like to give some away but none of my friends are into pedals so :/
 
I've built around 60, I think. About 40 of them I still have. The others have been given away or scrapped for parts. Bread-boarding has greatly reduced the number of pedals I build, which has been a good thing. I still get the experience and understanding of a circuit when bread-boarding, but I don't have to commit to keeping it. The things I do build, I tend to enjoy for more and for longer before I get bored. Designing my own circuits also greatly slows down production and increases learning.
 
I don't keep track but I'd say it's easily over 200 at this point and that's within the past two years. Breadboarding and using LTSpice has slowed down how many I build since I now just simulate them and then create PCBs on what I end up liking. I still do buy PCBs of effects that I have a passing interest in and want to plug them in and mess with them before they end up in a container with others....
 
Probably around three dozen, with three quarters of those being my own designs. Maybe 15 still here, a few of which were commercial ones given to me to repair or scrap for parts. And then I've done a few dozen rack or desktop widgets and full amp builds, both of which I enjoy a lot more than pedals.
