How to open/edit sch schematic files?

Anyone know how to convert sch files to KiCad or another program to open/edit them?

I have some amp schematics I need to look at.

you can upload Altium, Kicad and Eagle files (boards and schematics). Just choose from the menu.

by the way - the sch extension is used by several programs. Eagle and Kicad for sure. There will probably be some more. But these two are probably the most popular.

Making sure you tried the import function in kicad. Can't "open" but may "import-nonkicad files" or something like that.
Also,
Open the .sch file in notepad++ and check the first few lines. May get a clue of the original program used.
Once you know the original app, may be able to find a plugin to assist or atleast know what to Google. E.g., "open altium .sch file in kicad"

Thank everyone. I installed Eagle, but the sch files were made for ExpressSCH. They are from the EL34 forums.
