Hydra Delay - speed control

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with my hydra circuit where the speed control is acting as a tone control instead of a speed/time control. When turning the ‘speed’ knob up, the delayed signal sounds filtered rather than any change to the time between repeats. The rest of the circuit works as intended, and I have checked the circuit and components against the schematic and it all seems to be correct, I just can’t seem to locate where the issue is. Any help would be massively appreciated!

I have been checking the board against the attached schematic. IMG_8313.jpeg

Confession time lol, I’ve been having a go with diptrace and getting PCBs through JLCPCB which is what I did for this circuit. I have a hydra PCB and eeprom which I bought from pedal PCB and I cloned that eeprom to use here. The eeprom works correctly as I tested it in my working hydra, and this circuit works but it’s just the rate knob which has bamboozled me and I can’t work out why it isn’t working as it should. I’ve checked the gerber file against the schematic as well as my physical connections on the PCB but I can’t find where the issue is. I’ve reflowed all of the solder joints and all of the connections for the rate knob are correct.
(Please excuse the messy board and use of a dual gang pot, I didn’t have any other pots of that value available, not my finest work I’ll admit) also the wiring is done that way just to use with a test box

Does the Age control work properly?

It's tough to say for sure without seeing your schematic and trace layout.
I think I’ve found the issue, when I was tracing the circuit it looks like I listed the 3.3V common ref to pins 6 and 8 of the FV1 differently to the 3.3V coming from voltage regulator, I’m gonna retrofit a connection and see if that solves the issue
