Noob question: where do I put the probs when measuring the voltage? I’m assuming the positive goes where vcc is labeled. Anywhere else? Where does ground prob go?
also, what’s a reasonable voltage reading at vcc and elsewhere?
The ground probe goes to any lead connected to ground, e.g., the power negative lead. The positive goes to whatever node you are trying to measure voltage of. Vcc is typically around the power voltage (sometimes minus a diode drop).
