my money is on GOTA ... I figured out how much backlog I have ready to assemble (I was buying parts and shoving them in a toolbox without working on them) and it's kinda staggering, so I'm planning on getting more of that done but I wouldn't expect that to result in build reports.

Thread 'PHB 2025 - Schutone DM-3'

I’ve had this one mostly done for a while. To comply with the PHB “inventory-only” rule, I had to pull some pots out of a build I didn’t care about.

I don’t have an oscilloscope, so I calibrated this by ear. I took two full passes at it. I’m glad I did, because it was noticeably better the 2nd time.

This pedal is for the bass player in my band. He wanted something to replace his giant vintage memory man that plugs straight into 120v. He never uses the modulation, so this is a great fit.

He mounts his pedals upside down, so I do the art and orient the knobs upside down. He really wanted...

Thread 'Rat Terrier Build'

Occasionally my timing is perfect! My newly printed case and last parts arrived just in time for the Player Hater's Ball!

This is my first complete build inside the Phido Sound brand with a printed case (and my 3rd DIY build on a PCB). It's a ProCo Rat using the Muroidea Distortion PPCB board. Nothing fancy - the only thing deviating from the build guide is the LED resistor, to adapt to my old-school Not-As-Bright LEDs from the 90's (from Fry's in Palo Alto, if anyone wants a stroll down memory lane).

You sure you can't fit some Molex C-grid connectors in there? I see at least five missed opportunities to pin header M-F with ribbon to make Boss rage quit from envy.
