Players, haters, and po-taters! Stickman and I have reached an agreement.
First, a recap. The point of this contest was to see what y'all could build with parts you've already got in your inventory. Why a pure inventory build? Tariffs, mostly. There are various threads here with everyone griping about it. The other kicker in this contest was to encourage memes and to roast each other and their builds. Nearly right out of the gate, we got IAIGF vibes going which was on the surefire path to get nuked by Robert. Don't get me wrong: there were some goooood LOLs that happened, but they got out of hand and possibly discouraged others from engaging in this forum. Fortunately for this thread, those vibes vanished seemingly overnight.
Eventually, builds started trickling in. We had nearly 2 dozen contestants submitting close to 3 dozen build. Some were super polished, some were half-assed, some were whole-assed, and others were nothing more than a middle finger in the spirit of the Hater's Ball. Builds were then being submitted almost up to the wire with our deadline.
Nearly all of you have been really good sports about this contest. It was told right off the bat that your builds would get roasted and for the most part, they were. Roasts/hate were put in to encourage camaraderie and further engage in this community, but not everyone sees eye to eye here. Some people just have thicker skin and others are more sensitive. We're all still friends here I hope

.
Now the part y'all have been waiting for...
the WINNERS! Since
@Stickman393 and I were co-judging this contest we decided to announce winners separately. 2-D Stick will be in charge of all the hatred that flooded this thread. PMs will be sent for all winners to ensure you receive the prizes.
Like I said above, we had some great and not so great builds being submitted throughout this whole contest. What we were looking for was a combination of creativity, execution, and neatness in just the right combination. The true spirit of this contest was to see what you could build with parts lying around and DIY skills/knowledge. In our eyes, there was 1 contestant who stood out here and that's
@Bricksnbeatles with his "A Little White Lye" Soda Meiser build! It took great skill to wire up the build as neatly as he did with cloth wiring nonetheless, letter stamping, filling in those letters as crisply as he did, and purposely aging the enclosure. A fantastic job all around! Congratulations!
In 2nd place, we'd like to award this to our very own
@jessenator for his Cornish Muff clone. This build was as close to a nearly perfect factory finish as one could get, both inside and out and incredibly difficult to find a fault with. Spectacular soldering, wiring, and enclosure art design! Well done!
We'd also like to acknowledge a 3rd place in this contest. While we gave everyone a very loose set of constraints, there were those that decided to forgo a PCB and attempt a vero/stripboard build. This method of building requires a different set of skills when it comes to details, particularly offboard wiring. If you don't plan it out or not really know what you are doing it will turn into a spaghetti monster/Rat's nest super quickly. We want to give a huge shout out to
@owlexifry for his EQD Black Ash stripboard build. He also went 1 step further in breadboarding it before committing to solder. Although the enclosure outside was simple, the wiring job inside was simply the best in this category of builds. This was no easy feat to accomplish. For you Owelie, we would like to award you a $25 PPCB gift card! Congrats!
If you've wandered around the Test Kitchen section here you'll notice pretty quick that I was all about breadboarding and circuit design. I was
really hoping many of you would whip out a breadboard and try making something with all those Russian BJTs you keep buying. Sadly, I was disappointed. There was, however, one contestant who managed to breadboard something that wasn't a straight up close. The winner of this was
@leadfoot with his LFO Driven Delay. Well done!
@Stickman393 would you do the honors of announcing our top hater or haters?
