I´m trying to learn to read schematic and troubleshot.

I want to know how to follow the audio signal, I have connected an signal to input
and uses this way with a capacitor:

After the first component a capacitor 100nf I get really low signal.
And in and out on CD 4069 is really low.

Just want to know if a really low signal means Its ok before I continue.
And keep going to were I dont get any signal at all.

C1 has 2 purposes here. It filters out any DC from the audio source (coupling filter) and removes the extreme low end of the signal (EQ-ish). What signal are you putting through? Guitar, bass, etc?

2 things:

Double check the value of the 100n. Is it 100n?

Secondly, you can keep going with your audio probe and let us know where the signal dies. BTW what circuit are you testing? Can you provide a schematic?

100n is the same as 100 nF ( 0,1 uF ) ?
this is the one I got now:

This is the build, The Schematic is from the PCBversion.
On the schematic It looks like all three legs are used but in the board (VR1) the leg at the bottom don't go anywhere.

well.. to this point the trim1 200k (VR1) I got signal, to the first leg but nothing from the others, but really low in volume compared to when I start from no component.

Guess the trim want to be adjusted but didn´t have the time to continue. But It does´t feel like the signal should be
this low.
