J113 substitute

Would J112 be a decent substitute for J113? I’m building an Acetylene and could have sworn I had 113s but I can’t seem to find them.

I’m not 100% certain on the specs required for that specific application but I believe the 113 112 are close enough to get away with it. will it have the same performance probably not. But a good rule of thumb when rolling the dice on subs is ALWAYS check the data sheet to see if it will work for your application and socket them. Just because it doesn’t fry your project doesn’t mean it will last or even sound good.

I checked the data sheets, they were mostly close on specs. I was probably going to socket them just in case it doesn’t sound great.

The 113s are still pretty easy to get ahold of I would just get some and some other bench stock as to not get Jammed up on the whole shipping cost thing.
