Have to agree with Monk on this one. You're probably better off building a Marigold. I honestly think the JHS version isn't gonna be any better. Marigold would probably sound better since it's a hybrid. I've built a few hybrids and I gotta say...having a few silicon transistors driving into a germanium transistor sounds really nice. I'm damn near tempted to build a Marigold myself just for kicks.

You can also build a straight up Germanium MK III as well if desired.

The JHS pedal is based on a TBMKIII, so of the PPCB boards the soul vendor is going to be closest. Aion has a direct MKIII project available called the phobos.
