Well, the one thing I like about a GOOD hardware store is that they’ll have anything you need. Lose the glass bulby thing from your old percolator? They got that. A random old weird plug from a 1940s tv? They got 4. Feeling a little lonely on a Saturday night?…

I have this one too, works fine for single wires. I use on of these for ribbon cable and it’s great once you get it dialed in. I just bought a second one today because they’re 10 bucks and couldn’t find my other pair

I also have a parrot like this one and it doesn't really work on thin wires so I never use it.

These are what I use on larger wires. Handles stranded fine, and has that lovely length adjustment.
