Kliche issue

I built the Kilche and was excited to get it plugged in and playing though it. I might have rushed to get it completed.

Once plugged it everything was working but then it kind of crapped out. Signal still going through but barely and then kind of went dead.

Anyone have an idea of what I might have done wrong? Or what might be wrong. Once I unplugged and opened to see if anything looked off I repluggee it in and the same thing happened. It worked then stopped with a weak signal almost to nothing.

Thank you to anyone that reads this newbie builder post and willing to share their expertise.

Large clear pictures of the board taken out of the enclosure... Go ahead and clean all your flux off with isopropyl alcohol and let us have a look at both sides of board and your wiring.... if it's got signal then craps out you probably have loose connections.. reversed capacitors or bad Ic's or all of the above.. The guys here will have questions and ask you to do some things and report back.. good luck

I used larger than required film caps but as mentioned was trying to rush the build instead of waiting for appropriate sized parts

your soldering is pretty good (that I can see), you'll need to do a full visual inspection and confirmation of parts. Check and see if any of the oversized cap leads are shorting to any nearby resistors etc. Give the board a scrub with a brush and some isopropyl alcohol.

Gave it a look over and my lack of electronics knowledge doesn't help me any. So I see nothing touching to short out the circuit but I tried to use it again and the pedal worked for about 10 minutes or so and then it went "dead" barely any signal but what I didn't mention before is that if it's engaged or not engaged its not allowing signal. Again anyone who lends their time I appreciate it.

Does the led stay lit when jt stops working? If no id suspect your power supply.

This has a buffered bypass so it won’t work either way if the pedal is losing power. I would think it would most likely be a cap in the power supply. I would take a voltage measurement while its working at pin 8 of ic1, and ic2. Then after it stops take the same measurement. Should help isolate where the issue is. Before the charge pump or after.
