L78L33 too hot Leprechaun rainbow machine

Hi there! i've built a leprechaun,
the pedal is working however the L78L33 gets REALLY hot, like burning if touching, firstly I soldered directly, then used sockets and tried with another one and it's getting hot anyway, what can I do to avoid it?

hi there! i've added them to the tread, i cleaned the flux with isopropyl alcool to get rid of the flux, I've also redid the soldering
