Can someone explain to me how "a class-A overdrive" is important? I googled it a while back and came to the conclusion that it's basically mumbo jumbo for the average guitarist who has heard the term in amps, since I think most all guitar pedals work as class-A, but it seemed a bit confusing to me.
The idea seems cool, Neve 1073 preamp turned into a guitar pedal. It sounds nice too in that demo, although tbh it sounds like that demo could have also been done with a bunch of other pedals.
