I knew about DSMCZ, didn't see them there. The Etsy link is more expensive than some real (I'm pretty sure) LM308's I know about, if there was something for cheap I might have been interested. But thanks anyway, it's not like I actually need them (I have a couple of 308's and 208's stashed in case I want to build more RAT's at some point).
I must be incorrect, but I think the one in the right is a LM3080, like a CA3080. Both are legitView attachment 102722
I'm not sure of the one on the right. Don't recall if I tested it or not…
Maybe rebranded 741? Found this from my stash, white knob underneath:I looked at Jameco during my recent hunt.
I am by no means an expert, someone might tell me my entire haul is fake (I sure hope not), but combined with some of the reviews here there were just too many red flags.
The printing just looks off in the photo. Maybe I'm wrong.
The confidence that more will be in stock in 7 weeks is at least a little off-putting. Maybe it's just a placeholder for parts that are configured as replenishable in the system, it has said 7 weeks for at least two weeks, regardless, I was suspicious.....

Let me clarify that this is not a negative review. I've never personally had any bad experiences with Jameco.
(I don't think that I've ever actually ordered anything from them)
You're correct. My brain saw the three Jameco listings when I searched "LM308" and thought it was an "O" not a "0" preceding the "N"I must be incorrect, but I think the one in the right is a LM3080, like a CA3080. Both are legit
It’s a legit question.
...I do wish I had some metal can op amps...Because it's an undisputable fact that "metal can" and "NOS" sounds better on the Reverb listing.
I'll be making some available shortly. (most likely spread out over a few batches)
Some are planned to be included with an upcoming kit, but I have more than enough to offer some individually as well.
