Leprechaun- pcb error or me?

I put together the Leprechaun I bought last year and it isn’t working - multimeter showed no continuity between + input and r1 (1m). 9.4v is definitely going onto the board from power supply, but again it’s then 0 volts at r1.

Also, the two sides of the resistor do have continuity - they both go to c1, both go to ground, both go to the same foot switch pad. Is this a known board error or am I missing something? I can fix it with jumpers but just wanted to be sure

There haven't been any errors with the Leprechaun.

Both sides of R1 shouldn't have continuity to ground. The most likely causes are either a solder splash or incorrect wiring.

Can you post some pics?

having trouble uploading a higher res one. There’s some exposed trace going to ground above the left pad which goes to ground but the pad doesn’t seem linked to that by anything

C1, R1, R2, and the IN pad are all connected together so if there is a short to ground anywhere along that entire net all four of them will measure low ohms to ground.

That spot of exposed copper isn't a problem, that's the ground end of R1 anyway so even if was making contact it wouldn't be a problem.

Fixed, problem was just that I’d bought some power sockets from Amazon that had the wiring back to front, hadn’t noticed the volt reading was minus earlier and just noticed now. So..err..sorry for doubting the boards, was Jeff Bezos’ fault
