Leprechaun (Rainbow Machine) Magic is going the wrong direction

Hey everyone. So i just built up my second rainbow machine for a band mate. I made one for myself like 2 months ago. Mine works well, but my band mate's has some weird behavior. When you trigger the "magic" switch the cascading sound goes downward, not upward like on the original Rainbow Machine. I went over every component with the fine tooth comb and the 2 builds are identical. Could I have gotten a wrongly programmed FV-1? I'm not exactly sure what component controls the magic "direction". Has anyone else ever seen this issue? I haven't been able to find anything in my searches.

Hopefully that's clear. I can upload a video later or answer any questions if that doesn't make sense.

The "Magic" switch is just a feedback loop.

The direction of the effect depends on where your Spectrum (aka Pitch) knob is set.

You're right. I could have sworn I had the pitch the same direction when testing, but I guess I didn't...... I can delete the thread or leave it up for people as stupid as me.
