Lovepedals are like Pringles. The first few taste ok but then they just taste like pulp. At first they sound good but once you get into real playing with them the thinness of tone becomes apparent. There's only so much you can get from one transistor.

It's more accurately an LPB-1 clone. The veroboard is solid, so is the Tayda PCB that covers the Les Lius or Englishman.

The Englishwoman is essentially identical to the E-man except for a few minute changes. I can't remember what they were though. Sorry!

Yep! The "white foldy" model makes for a great modern treble booster with low output pickups. I prefer it a little bit warmer and with Ge diodes for a nice light overdrive.
