Hey,

Im having trouble with y Mach 1 build. Im new to building pedals so be kind :)

I get a signal trough the pedal when its off, but when i turn it on the signal cuts out. Led does turn on tough.

I know the tone pot looks funky but i tested that it works. Just bent the hell out of it out of frustraition :)))

Your pots are on the wrong side of the board. It'll still work but they'll behave backwards.

Any chance you have the volume turned down thinking it's turned up?

Removing pots can introduce all sorts of new issues. I'd recommend leaving them as is until the original problem is identified so we know whether we're dealing with a new problem or not.

can we get some updated/in focus pics? if you bent the hell out of your tone pot it may have broken it...I spot a bunch of cold solder joints too, from what I can make out

Is it possible you're plugging into the wrong jack for input and output? The pedal would still work in bypass but would not work when engaged.

In this picture, your input jack should be on the left.

Haven't replied due to a busy schedule, but i did try it both ways. here some new pictures. i Replaced all the pots for new ones and still the same problem.

Resistors and film cap values all appear to be correct. Your dual op amp isn't the spec'd part number, but the pinout should be compatible. Your wiring appears to be correct.

Have you tried another known working dual op amp by chance just to rule out out a bad IC? A TL072CP may be a good sub here.

I still see a number of solder joints that are questionable and workmanship can make troubleshooting challenging. I'd recommend an audio probe at this point to see if you can track down where you are losing signal when the effect is engaged. More info on the audio probe can be found here: https://diy-fever.com/misc/audio-probe/
