Yeah, the OPA2134 is very expensive and (as far as I can tell) total overkill for an overdrive, so I went with a TL072.

Does it sound the same? I don't know. Does it sound good? Yes, very good. I might try some other op-amps for comparison but I'd be fine leaving it as is.

I'll compare it to some of my other favourite overdrives but I can say on first impression that it sounds great as a low-medium drive.

Blue LED, 7.5k resistor.

Nice. I built a pedal that switches between Mach 1 and Southern Belle modes and used a TL072 for that. I have no complaints about it at all in place of the OPA2134. Tidy build here, I like the artwork.
