Madbean Rough Cut

Built a Madbean Rough Cut compressor which is a copy of the Diamond Compressor. Only tricky thing is that it has some weird resistor values that are harder to find. It also uses a center detent pot for the tilt eq which is kind of cool. Other than that, pretty straightforward. Never really used a compressor before. Definitely can do some country sounds, although not really my thing. Not sure I'm going to use this one all that much, but still a fun project.

Clean-looking build!

You built it, may as well use it!
If you use an octave-down, synth pedal or similar, run the comp in front.
If you use a filter that throws out some spikey quacks, place the comp after.
