A few weeks ago @MichaelW sent me some parts I needed to finish a build that Tayda was out of. That was awesome enough but he also included 2 PCBs also! This is one of them now built. I got to try out my new Auditorium Test Platform for the first time too.

I had one of the original Zen's from Alf and later a red variant from Lovepedal, both of which were sold when I needed $$ for other gear. So it's great to have one back again.

Thank you @MichaelW.

Nice!

Still one of my favorites! I think I’ve told this story before but the last pedal I actually bought was a Zen clone off Reverb. I opened it up and saw the PCB said “pedalpcb.com”and that’s how I found this place and started my whole pedal building journey!

Similar for me—I was reading a TGP thread on modern Phasor makers, and two different posts raved about how great the builds they had bought from two different vendors sounded. They included gut shots, and I saw the PedalPCB logo, and thought, “hmm, there must be a site with that name.” Just a bit over a year ago.

Alf let's Lovepedal use a 5532 so what was the Original sanded OpAmp!???
I think general consensus is AD712, as mentioned above. For $15/pop at DigiKey, they’re expensive as hell though!

The OPA2604 was used in the Guitar Center edition (red face, black sides) and Alf Signature (white screen print on an all-gold enclosure) versions, along with a 1M Gain pot. That’s my favorite variant!

What about that version do you like better?
