Marketing dept. needs help

Somehow I don't think their marketing department quite understands what a thickness planer is for...... however they have better reviews than DeWalt does so I think I'm going to bite..... Kiln dried studs are like the cheapest wood per square inch at home depot, and it makes nice tables if you plane it first, see pic at bottom. This is not my work, but is very close to what I have in mind.....

Wow, what's the model number on that and how much was it??? I did a quick search and lowes wants about 500 for 'dual sided disposable' knives....
It’s a 13” model number 22-580. I got it for $200 at an estate sale and added the Shelix for about $400

Table tops, picture frames, cutting boards and lots of other stuff. It’s decent for what I use it for, but probably not for high end production.

Score!!! I did find the Shelix after I posted, I was looking for Helical, thought the S was a typo, lol. I hadn't even thought about using it to level cutting boards.... There are some mighty expensive Helical planers out there. Saw one for $29,000, 220v three phase, 10 hp.... oufta!

My Dewalt sits in the corner waiting on the knicked blades to be replaced. I would love a helical cutter head, but I don't do enough wood work to justify.

Vevor isn't a bad brand. I bought one of their 3018 CNCs a few years back and it still works and I have no issues. Also have a few other things like a vacuum chamber and a few other random tools. Think I even looked at some of the still pots they had on their site :ROFLMAO:

It’s a cool setup- I had to replace the knives and the bearing on it, so I decided just to upgrade it since I got a good deal on it.

The flip top is based on plans by Brad Rodriguez:
