This is the Madbean LaVache, which is their take on the Lovepedal Les Luis. I used the tagboardeffects layout. It is supposed to sound like tweed amps, and it is a take on the electra distortion. This is the 2nd time I built this, the first was gifted many years ago.
I reused an enclosure that I intended for the RunOffGroove Thor. Thor was the only circuit I never got working (it had a high pitched squeal that I never successfully debugged). I abandoned it because I already had a bunch of MIAB pedals, and because it had jfets that I could reuse in other circuits. Because the enclosure was drilled for 2 knobs and 2 switches, I looked for another circuit that had this layout and remembered the LaVache, so chose to build it.
I've never been good at taming the offboard wiring of tagboards--the bottom is sealed and nobody has to look at the wiring again.
