Ha! That's Lucky Bay, right at the bottom of Western Australia. I once went there about 20 years ago to shoot for an ad campaign. Kangaroos do actually come down onto the beach to lap fresh water off the incredible white sand. The fresh water comes from the dunes - I don't know why!

The sand is so compacted you can drive on it in a regular car. The water is so clear you can see the shadow of a wave on the sand underneath. It's quite a remarkable place.
