I just finshed build the Motorizer and I really dig it. After it was completed, while testing it out of the enclosure, I wasn't very pleased with the sound of the distortion (flubby and ugly), especially at high gain settings, but for some unexplained reason, once mounted and completed, it sounds great. It did have a very quiet constant high frequency going on, on all distortion settings and to solve that, I replaced the ICL7660SCPAZ charge pump with an LT1054 and it's perfect now. BTW, I used a smaller Hammond 1590B2 with a relayed true bypass instead of the recommended 125B.
