Mullard Tough?

Black Glass Mullard OC45 Germanium transistor. A nice touch if it falls in range of your project, or if you happen to collect transistors. Just be sure to check the "Priority Mail" box, else they get the Morlocks to deliver it.

Flat as a pancake, tiny bits of glass flaking off of its poor crushed lifeless body....so sad.

Not totally surprising that the transistor is okay. There's a whole lotta casing/packaging there. As long as the lead connection to the semiconductor is still intact, you should be good to go.
