I don't think it's an age thing. I've just never been into 70s/80s rock. I've heard Van Halen but I can't name any of his (their?) songs.
Is running with the devil the song where the chorus is "running with the devil"? I think I've heard that one.You don't know Running With the Devil, Hot for Teacher, Jamie's Cryin, Dance the Night Away, etc?
I tried again about a month ago. Every so often I hear about how Van Halen’s ________ album is a classic. As my tastes have changed I've just never really been in a position where listening to a Van Halen album seemed like a good idea.

Guess you won't be tracing the EVH250 when it drops?I don't even think Eddie's tone is good...
Man, that must be new to the rotation. I haven’t heard that on the boneyard.Coincidentally this came on the radio last night...
I think it's the first time I've ever actually heard Malmsteen. I mean, I didn't hate it.

Growing up, one of my friends older brothers claimed Eddie was the best electric guitarist ever. At the time I thought that was ridiculous. But now I get it. It’s crazy how good he is.Before Eddie, nothing like that had been done since early country and western (look it up) and blues.
