"Which entry will adorn the new breadboarding thread?"

I thought it was going to be a whole sub-forum...

EDIT: Darn, just thought of another silly name "Raisin-Bread Board".
and I can't vote for my "Fig New-Tones", 'cause it was derivative of Carlinb17's already mentioned "Sir Fig Newton" — (I should've checked first). Besides, my entry should've been:
"Dr Figlove or: How I Learned to Stop Soldering and Love the Breadboard"

While that would be insanely cool (with all the additional options), I just assumed it would use too much real estate so I didn't ask about a whole section. He did say we could do some more custom prefixes to help delineate things.

Edit: Gotcha...not a thread, but a forum. Wow I'm slow. :ROFLMAO:

My humour, if you can call it that, was too obtuse.

If it was just a thread that needed naming, you could just start a thread with the name. I'll stop before it all becomes completely unravelled.

A totally valid train of thought. Unfortunately, I only have the caboose in my set and no engine.:ROFLMAO:

"The Test Kitchen" is pulling away from the pack...(well, by one vote...but it sounds more dramatic)

Polls close tonight. Get your votes in.

I'm fig and I approve this message.

We have a winner! The new forum name by popular vote is "The Test Kitchen", submitted by @Coda !

The prize? It's a VERY cool 126-value (.5Ω - 4.3MΩ)1% 1/4-watt resistor sample book. I'm on my 3rd. It takes up way less space than a drawer bin (though I use one for common values).

Congrats @Coda !
Cool prize and a great way to file resistors. I repurposed an old binder with a basketball card series from the early 90s for that use (+ other small components).

And Tim, once again, thanks for spicing things up with all these contests, this forum is lucky to have you!
