Need A Bass Compressor and Envelope Filter

I was caught by this debate. All my rhetorical questions about your previous comment might be felt as a bit aggressive. I tried to be moderate, and meant no disrespect. I even implied that you weren't reasonable and I hope you can forgive this foolish bewilderment. I am still young and i have much to learn. Thanks for your patience !

I'd be curious to listen to some of your work, playing on bass. Phasers, delays... it sounds interesting. I wonder if there's something available on internet ?
No offense taken, I tend to overlook stuff like that when I know how the forum operates. Everyone is generally nice. I just like to clarify that they’re my experiences and YMMV. I apologize if any of my posts came across aggressive as well.

I really don’t o ie if there are any recording online or not. I may be able to dig out some stuff.

There is a down-side to having a BASS section in the PedalPCB shop — again to use MadBean's site as an example:

There are MANY pedals at MadBean that are GREAT on bass, a LOT more than the current 6 in the BASS SERIES section.

So, if you're a bass-player new to DIY and you see there's only six in the BASS SERIES and don't bother to check out the rest of the shop then...

YOU'RE MISSING OUT!

Nothing preventing putting those pedals in more than one category though, is there? ;)

And hey, please name names, I'm always up for hearing what's been working for others.

Guess its a good thing I hang around here then. I went BYOC/Aion -> PPCB -> MBP, Moonn, Parasit, 'Lectric....

@Passinwind, that's a tough one, ie naming names...

That'd probably be a long list from all the shops, and then what works for someone may not work for another person's signal-chain and then again with a simple tweak it might...

Best for one to sort of figure out what interests oneself, and then do one's own research here and in the other DIY forums.

Tryin' to be like Bootsy...
Don't fake the funk and keep it on the one.
