I bought this Marshall 1960B cab a while back. I took the baffle out to fix the t-nuts for the speaker mounting screws and decided to swap the grillcloth to this big checkerboard style. That was like two months ago (and I finally got around to ordering the grill cloth, thank you ADHD). There was some weird paint or something on the old cloth that you could faintly see in person, but it was more noticeable in pictures.
I got the cloth swapped last night, but had misplaced some of the hardware somehow. It's funny how you set all that stuff aside in a tupperware container in the cabinet then later on half of it isn't in the container anymore. Anyway, I think it really spiffed up the cabinet. I've been jamming around on vintage 30s for the past two months so these g12-t75 speakers are so different. Lots of people don't like them, but they match up with Marshall heads. I forgot how much bass these speakers put out. I could put the bass on 6 comfortably on the V30s, but around 4 is the sweet spot with these. I'd like to try some greenbacks or creambacks in the cab eventually, maybe mixed with the T75s in an x pattern.
