I found a rubber-turd at a joke-shop, bought it with intentions to build a pedal, long before DR NO STOLE THAT IDEA, TOO!
All his shit is too expensive.

So... I can build you a shitty pedal, if you want. Or I could just send you a little shit in a box...





Anyway, pedal-builder "Dr No" is dead to me, even if he makes some ridiculous things I might've liked.
 
The new EQD Towers thing kiiiinda seems like the reverb version of two of @Aleph Null's delay projects. There's nothing new under the sun and all that, but I don't think I've ever seen another project incorporate "wah" filters into the delay/reverb path before. Then again I haven't seen much so who knows.

 
I am not sure if this is a new release or just new to me, but this Westerlund One sounds pretty good to me. I’m guessing it’s a blues breaker / KoT variation with expanded eq and a boost. It’s marketed as a preamp. Check it out!

I was very tempted by Puremagnetik's Laps a while back (based on a fun plugin they also make) and this newly released Jots looks like some fun for happy accident looping too. I think it's also based on a Daisy Seed

 
I kinda struggle with TPS or any pedal demos these days. The demos are generally more about how clever the demonstrators think they are and TPS has disappeared up it's own arse. You just have to try stuff yourself. With dirt pedals in particular it's how the circuit reacts to the player that is the deciding factor for most of us.

I remember a paintchip topic where somebody bought a pedal as a new one and had paintchips off. Z was clear he was protecting his sellers who had just a demomodel and there was not gonna be a refund.

The TPS video covers many pedals. I linked the timestamp when they demo the one I mentioned. You can probably get the gist after a few minutes. But yeah they tend to go on lots of tangents…

Don't get me wrong, I love Dan and Mick. It's just the philosophical meanderings can go on and on and on and on....heh
 
There is a lot, a whole lot in the world and on the internet that I bother about and that fact is actually bothering me. Since last week when I bother just about anything I use the mantra: What would Elza do? She would let it go but she also says it is friday: you could watch TPS or surf on the PPCB forum.

Oh yeah, dude had a penchant for posting replies as images, and then removing his own post so there was nothing for someone to reply or quote. Major douche.

Oh gawd, I remember some woman who was associated with Devi prior to Devi’s change… and Z somehow involved as well. It was *strange* Being in my early 20’s, in college, up all night with a bag of weed, it made for memorable forum surfing.
I’ll still never purchase a single item associated from either party.
