My brother and I have been lifelong Joe Walsh fans ever since my dad took us to see him play a concert after a Kansas City Royals game when we were kids. I think my brother and I were 11 or 12. We were more into Korn and Limp Bizkit at the time but Joe Walsh blew us away. He was also pretty funny and had the whole stadium cracking up at several points. Anyways, fast forward to December 2025. I saw ads for an auction with Joe Walsh at Julien’s Auction House. There were hundreds of guitars and amps up for auction so I felt like we had a good chance to score some cool gear. Come auction time, all the cool stuff got snatched up for big 
. Then even some of the low hanging fruit started getting out of our price range too. So we ended up with a Squire Antigua baritone and a 1954 supro lap steel w/ original snakeskin case. The guitars finally arrived today, February 6th. The baritone has killer action and arrived in tune still. The supro lap steel is cool as hell. I don’t know shit about lap steel but I’m excited to mess around with it (can’t wait to plug it into ring mod 
). We definitely paid a premium for them being owned by Joe Walsh but I’m glad we won some cool stuff. In one of the ads for the auction Joe said he played all the guitars in the auction.
