Have completed 5 builds this week (son of ben, sproing deluxe, nobleman, mach 1 od, southern belle) the last of which was this Nobleman. Have never played an ODR but love the way this one sounds with my BF Fenders. sprayed it with a matte black primer/paint with the intent of doing something else with it and then liked the beatup look after sanding it down so i just left it for now. trying to get neater on the wire lengths and solder joints. i invested in a hakko iron and it's really a huge step-up from the weller i was using before. i also just found the thread on here about step-by-step making of a pedal and the "wash the board with alcohol" so i'll give that a try on the next one to clean up all the flux. anyway, really enjoying the building.

Nice job!... Here's a little tip for that middle potentiometer so do don't blemish your caps... We see your mistakes.. lol
make sure you clip the leads fairly flush where the pot goes... clean the back of your pcb with 99% iso.... then place that middle pot in the pcb and solder it in from the back... just give it enough time/heat to flow through to the front.... no burnt caps

yeah, that was just about the last thing i placed on the board and i died a little on the inside when i bumped it. ha ha!!

I did that yesterday and I was bummed. Literally on one of the last solder joints.
