Hi.

Hello..

I have Noiseless pickups but something called my attention it's about the poles. They are all flat. It's that a new version? New models?
It's a Fender licensed product.

thank you

Pretty sure this is normal. Vintage staggered pole pieces aren’t necessarily needed on today’s flatter fretboard radius. I prefer a modified stagger and flat on the bridge when possible.

Long ago there was a thought behind the staggering. The core being more magnetic on the wound strings, hence those were a bit higher and higher as they got thinner. Also to account for the fretboard radius. But, you tell me if you can tell a difference. I never noticed. The old magnets were also alnico 2 and weaker.
