Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

Instrumentals, because I need some Dumile but don't want my 3 and 4 year old kids to saying half the words contained in his lyrics. I'm probably going to wear this copy out before they're aloud to hear any of the others but that's the point.

Earlier we enjoyed this. If you dig it check out the full symphonic version. I do like the intensity of two people covering that much sonic territory though.

I was rearranging furniture in my kid's room earlier, and noticed this sticker on my old bedframe from when I was a teenager.

I forgot all about this band and the whole Krishna hardcore phenomenon of the 90s, but I was not surprised that I remembered every word from a record I hadn't heard in 25 years

I'm glad I don't fall into that statistic about not discovering new music after you're 14 or whatever 😂
I was that way until my late 20's. I'm glad I was able to get over myself.

And it may be the nostalgia talking, but I am now finally able to admit that Hootie fucking ruled and Darius Rucker has one of the best voices from the 90's, and I don't care what anyone says :ROFLMAO:

I'm going off memory here but I could probably get through the whole album

Not sure I would go that far, but I saw them open for Toad the Wet Sprocket when I was in middle school. It was a couple months before their first single hit. They were the tightest band I had seen by far, guys singing was very on, and the lead guitar player was great. Never listened to the record but they were a solid live band then.

My friend Nate dozed off during the Toad set and was jolted awake by the solo in Hold Her Down, it was pretty hilarious.

As for me I have been listening to this today:

Why the Discogs link you say? Because I can't find it anywhere online.

That said, it's good.. very good.
