Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

I've been going through a lot of Sabbath,.and more recently, a lot of the Rival Sons stuff. Really like their latest album (Feral Roots), and they were absolutely great live on that tour.

I think this counts:

My "office" is in the living room and we have a playpen set up here (taking up the bulk of the living room) and I do my job and keep any eye on the kiddo all day. This morning I put on some old Sesame Street and this gem just showed up. Good ol' Leland Slkar on bass!

I’ve been listening to the newest St. Vincent album. The first track/single isn’t that good, but the rest of it is really good. Like, REALLY good.
I also had Shellac on earlier. Talk about dichotomy…
I just ordered tickets for the nearby All Things Go Music Festival with HAIM and St. Vincent headlining. Should be a good way to spend a Saturday in mid-October.

I rarely have a plan when pulling out a record, but tend to go with my gut when I see something.

I've apparently been in a Bonnie "Prince" Billy mood lately. Tried to use the reflection to my advantage, here.

You may be right, but when Parsons joined the Byrds, to me there was a noticable difference and it's obvious Hilman enjoyed working with him Hence The Burrito Brothers
I listen to the byrds far far more than I probably should. For me, it's the addition of Clarence White as a full blown member on sweetheart that I really love. Parsons was the least best singer in the band

I think it was more that Graham embraced Hillmans love of country music that maybe influenced the changes in the Byrds
