Now Playing... What are you Listening to Right Now?

Been chilling with Phoenix and New Order tonight

I had to link the Baywatch version of Regret. Seeing Peter Hook in his usual playing position on a beach always cracks me up

The Only Living Boy in New (new*) York by Simon and Garfunkel
The lyrics are especially meaningful to various times in my life.
Give it a listen, or another chance.

I can gather all the news I need from the weather report,
Hey, I've got nothing to do to-day but smile...

I think that may be my favorite of theirs. I don't know a lot of their music, but that song really gets me.

After the most recent episode of Ask Zac (probably my favorite current guitar related YouTube channel) I decided to check out this live EmmyLou Harris album. All the tracks are killer but I especially liked this cover of racing in the street.

Then because it had been a while and I didn't know previously that James Burton played guitar on the album, I listened to Grievous Angel

If you feel like listening to some amazing post-rock, BRUIT, a French band for Toulouse just released their first LP.
Great soundscapes, on heavy rotation here.

After seeing @fig post his "Now Playing" list I got totally jealous and decided to start this thread where we could all share what we're currently listening to when we want. It'll be nice to get a feel for other people's tastes as well as maybe help some of us discover Monday nights my wife works late. The kiddo goes down at 6pm and from then staring off in to the distance and likely burning a couple of trees down.

So, anyways, without further ado: I've currently got Arthur Russell's Love is Overtaking Me. I haven't spent much time with this album yet, but I get the feeling

Randy Holden- Population II. One of my favorite records ever. Randy played in blue cheer for a hot second. With his solo act, he played with something like 16 Sunn full stacks

I'd never heard of Randy Holden before now, and I've only listened to a few minutes of this, but I am really digging it. I'm going to have to spend some time with this, thanks for sharing.

I've been in a Moldy Peaches mood this morning, myself:
