I've been farting around with a couple of DVF builds from GuitarPCB trying to achieve the same concept as the 'Interstellar Orbiter'/'Chaos Machine' and was getting nowhere. After hearing the MichaelW's and EQD's YouTube demos of the 'Interstellar Orbiter'/'Chaos Machine' I had to get one and build it myself.
Yeah, the Chaos Machine seems to have some "whooshing' fun it, but I think that's just part of the pedal's character and the 'whooshing' gets buried in the mix once I started playing. Slick Circuit!
Anyway, so here are my build shots of the Chaos Machine . . . .
While waiting for the PCB to arrive, I did a Photoshop mockup of what I hoped would be a good build.
Then in unbridled anticipation, I ordered a finished enclosure from AmplifyFun. I think it turned out great!
The PCB arrived and population ensued . . . .
Finally, got it stuffed . . . .
