SOLVED Oasis tone control issue?

Just finished up an Oasis today. Everything seems to work as it should with the exception of the tone knob. I'm confused if somethings not working right, but basically it seems like there's little to no difference in the sound with the tone pot at 0 or 10.

Is the tone supposed to be super subtle on this one or is something not working properly?

Is the tone pot good? Measure resistance across lugs 1 and 3 of the 5K pot - should be in the neighborhood of 5K. This is normally the last place I'd look, but I recently had a build with a bad pot - got an infinite ohms reading - replaced it, and all was good.

Yup pots good, getting 5.23k.

Anything else in the tone block that could be the culprit?

Are you sure you're using all the correct resistor values here? Maybe the colors in the pic are off, but these values look suspect to me.

Assuming the bottom resistor (R19) is a 1% metal film (last band brown), that would be an 80K - whereas R19 on the board and schematic show 10K. I'd double-check all your resistor values.

Also, pic of the underside of the board, and a front/side view, showing cap values used, would be helpful.

Yeah the picture colors might be a bit off but R19 is a 10k just measured it. I'll check the other values too. Here's a few more pics

Omg I figured it out and now I'm confused for a different reason ha. Somehow in my bin of 330nf WIMA caps I had some 3.3nf's

I apparently used a 3.3nf in C6 instead of a 330 🥴 so was pretty much full open at all times. Now it's working.

I need a drink now, thanks for the assistance guys I appreciate it.
