SOLVED Ocelot Octave Funny Issues

Hey guys, new here! I've built a handful of pedals without issue, but my white whale has been what is basically a copy of this build:

I managed to get one Ocelot built according to the docs no problem. Then I tried to do a second with the 2 knob job and left out the Oct 2 pot and it worked great yesterday, but after trimming some wires to make it fit in the box, I'm not getting any signal when engaged AND it's making this funny little noise when I plug it in. I removed the 2KJ altogether and cleaned it up to test it and I'm still not getting anything. I gotta imagine that noise has something to do with the whole thing not working (did I short out and destroy an IC?)... but maybe not! I tried searching to figure out what might be causing it, but search terms for 'bloop when powered' was not getting me anywhere lol

EDIT: My functioning Ocelot also makes the same noise when I plug it in while it's engaged. Anyone else notice this? It's not the end of the world for my purposes as long as it's not hurting anything...

That's frustrating to hear but thanks for the inspiration! Your two button ocelot is what I always wanted my OC-2 to be!

I was just thinking "don't you always turn on your amp last?" I just checked and mine definitely does the bwip when you power it up switched on. So, don't stress over the bwip.

This was definitely backwards. However, the problem was IC1 - for some reason I wasn't getting output from pin 1, so I swapped it out and everything worked!

Hello the team
I have problem with the PCB and the pin2 (the gate) on the Q3 I lost the soldering connection
I tried as marked on the jpg to solder to the R20 and the R19 (blue and orange threads) but nothing changed and it still doesn’t work

Can you tell me please where the 3 pin are linked espacially ht epin2 the gate but if uou can also tell me if my schema is correct
can you test that with a multimeter..i wrote to pedalpsb but no one respond me

As demanded on the jpg "ocelot Q3pin2" canb you show me where i have to solder the pin 2 of the Q3 on which component ?
