What can I say it's a boss oc2 works great.
I think I used bat41's instead of the germaniums per other forum post recommendations, don't think I had to do any other swaps. Taydas metallic brown turned out really nice!
Cool and fun to have, using a tentacle after too into a distortion is fun. Get all synthy.

Trying another bezel. I kind of like these since they are nice and flush and keep it consistent. Maybe I should stop doing raw led. Use the intended color led as well. The bezel isn't enough to color the light from the led itself.

Socketed all the ics just in case cuz there's so many. It'd suck if any of em them didn't work.

Fresnel Lens — that's-no-bezel.png

Named after French physicist Augustin-Jean Fresnel (the "s" is silent) for use in lighthouses and still found in theatre-lighting as well as on pedal-faces. It's become my favourite form of bypass indication, possibly because I was heavily involved in theatre earlier in my life-span.

Gorgeous colour of enclosure you have there, I have something similar that's also intended for an Ocelot.

Keep these great builds coming!

🤷‍♂️
I've alWays put the emPHAsis on the seCOND sylLABle when pronouncing FrehNEL. That's how we said it in my theatre circles:
Lead Tech: "Hey Feral, the #8 Fresnel is burnt out, change it for me, please".
Some say po-tay-tow and some say toe-mah-toe...

So I looked it up... according to WIKI:

(/ˈfreɪnɛl, -nəl/ FRAY-nel, -nəl; /ˈfrɛnɛl, -əl/ FREN-el, -əl; or /freɪˈnɛl/ fray-NEL)

But you know, most people can't pronounce "foyer" properly, and what is proper and according to whom is it proper?
It's another French word, so I pronounce it like a pro and say it properly: foy-yay.

D'addario. Another good example. It's NOT Dee-ah-dar-reo!
Wolfgang pronounces it correctly: Dah-dairy-yo.

Does one say luhd-wigg beat-hoven? NO, one says Lewd-vig Bate-offen.

Given that Fresnel's a French name, probably frayNEL is closest to an anglophone pronouncing it correctly.

When you say it, just use a Mel Blanc French accent:

So, uhm, yeah. @Vild, great build — will you be attempting labelling or graphics for this or any of the other awesome builds you've been posting?
