Way back in 2016, since i always loved the sound of an Acoustic 370 head, i decided to build an exact clone of the preamp of it in pedal form. It took me along time to design and etch the multiple PCBs for it and build one for myself. Fortunately, I had all of the original transistors for it, and almost all of the original Artted inductors (impossible to find, even back then) for the graphic eq and midrange control it in my parts bin with the exception of one. Russ Allee (the original designer of it) lived pretty close to me and when he saw a post in the Acoustic amps forum that i was building it, he noticed that i was looking for the one missing inductor and contacted me and said that he had one in stock so he shipped it to me. I finally built it up and was thrilled with the result and it's still probably favorite preamp to this day.
