One HOT christmas

We've had a fairly mild December this year but for whatever reason today, christmas day, was 42C - that's about 108 in Fahrenheit. We live on the western side of our city, closer to the beach, so it wasn't quite so bad. But we had lunch at our son's place on the other side of the city away from the coast and it was brutal outside. Fortunately he has excellent aircon! And now it's gone all cloudy and still hot. I'm not going out there again...

Sometimes I wish we had a white christmas.

You guys get to drink white wine in the sun on Christmas so I’m pretty sure you haven’t advantage.

I’m that guy you see in your town wearing shorts unless it snows. It’s 1/2 degrees or 34/35 degrees depending what you believe in, yet here I am. I buy pants when it snows.

What is the point of having -6C if there's no snow? That's just craziness.

@Caedarn That looks perfect to me. As long as you don't have to do anything other than drink hot coffee and cold beer and eat warming treats...
Well, it took about 2 hours to do snow removal from this last storm, but I’m not complaining

It was supposed to rain but it's clear, sunny, and a nice comfortable 67 degrees.

I’m in Oaxaca with family and it’s currently 65F. It feels pretty nice and it was really warm in the morning.

And now that it's boxing day the heat has disappeared. It's been a lovely relatively cool day of 25C and it even rained! Really unusual weather.
