op-amp adaptor board soldering

Newbie question here.. The dark esbat is my first diy project ever.
I got these dip-adapters for the mc33178, but just no idea what the right way is to solder them and then place them on the board.
I took the 50% chance of getting them right.. But even then. I this just common knowledge?

Any input is welcome. 😊
