I've never been a jazz guy. 98% of it seems like mindless scale running to me.

I've been a Kids in the Hall guy, on the other hand, since it came out. My friends and I got a lot of mileage deploying the "Sorry, must've slipped my mind" line in our best Kevin-McDonald deadpan.

Any slide style guitar without some dirt/fuzz is lacking. But if all he is looking for is more louder then just build him an LPB-1 or go super fancy and build an Equilux
