OSHA regulations and signage.

True story.

I have an apprentice that is too good for me. Curious, thoughtful, quick to learn and works so hard I have to shake my head at him sometimes like "bro, take a load off". I don't deserve him.

Case in point:

First day he came out to work with me, I told him: "OK, we have some air conditioners on the rooftop that we're gonna be starting up, but first we need to put some safety signage up. So I want you too take these, and put them anywhere that looks like it needs one."

And I handed him a stack of these, face down, and went back to work:

WARNING, MILDLY NSFW!

That’s awesome!

@blackhatboojum what do you do for work? I was in a welding program last year but didn't get to finish. I miss it
My official job title is a Customer Service Maintenance Technician for the world’s largest industrial gas company but, I like to call myself a Glorified Plumber. Basically, I maintain bulk cryogenic and gas systems for several customers in southern Arizona. My customer base ranges from a mom and pop metal shop that uses nitrogen for their laser cutter, to several hospitals needing oxygen, to a large defense contractor that uses high pressure argon from a 10,000 psi pumping system. TIG welding stainless pipe, brazing copper pipe, 15v dc to 600v ac wiring, refrigeration, and a countless list of other things, are what I do on the job. I’m a man of many skills but, an expert of none lol.
