Parasite Wah Sweep

I've built the parasite wah, really love it, it's exactly the type of angry sounding filter type thing I want.

Only issue is the same I've seen a lot of people mention, It goes extremely dark/silent when heel is all the way down.

I've looked at mods mentioned by other people, but I haven't found anything that addresses this specifically.

I'm not great at circuits so I haven't really worked out how to mod it to address this. Would something like connecting a resistor in series with one of the lugs address this?

A treble-bleed to address the darkness?

Returning from the afterlife to bring a warning and good news: After ripping my hair out over figuring out how to attach the pot to a crybaby shell, issue was that short shaft pots are hard to attach.

Found this pot which made everything way simpler. Long shaft, and also it fit the pinion, unlike the metal pots:

The sweep thing is a mechanical issue, not about the circuit. Essentially, make sure it's at it's brightest when the treadle is pushed down. A crybaby pedal doesnt allow for a full sweep of the pot

exactly.... Every Wah I've owned I messed with t\where the pot was rotated to find the sweet spot on the sweep I wanted..

Could you also put another pot (either internal trim, or regular style mounted on the side if you want to re-tweak) in series with the treadle pot to fine tune the range?

Some expression pedals have this.

That's essentially the sweep control on the Jerry Cantrel signature crybaby, @Stickman393 and Guardians of the analog are the authority on this mod.

There's some mods mentioned here that I'm interested in, but doesn't say much about what they do

I'd be interested in a sweep mod too.

Generally very happy with it as someone who isn't a fan of most wahs, but still interested in tweaking it a bit

Inspecting the mods listed above, the 2nd reference to "R2 200R" should be "R12 200R"
And the reference to "D100 1N587" should be "D100 1N5817"

- R2 650K -> 100K (I use a 1M trimpot here and adjust to taste - this mod makes the most significant change to overall sound of the circuit.)
- R5/R7 200R -> 220R (not really crucial)
- R22 200R -> Jumper
- D100 1N5817 -> 1N270 germanium diode
- R11 16K -> 5,1V Zener diode

There really isn't "sweep mod" for this circuit. The sweep is controlled by setting the degree angles of the pot geers. No Cry Baby sweep actuates the full range of the mounted mount. A sweet spot needs to be found by adjusting the initial contact point of the sweep gears with treadle toe (or heel) fully up or fully down.
