One thing that really kills me is the overarching trend of super NOS builds coming out of what I call the “super boutique” circles.
I get it. It’s all old AF.
The OGs of this business model, D*A*M, Castledine, etc. were NEVER this in your face about it. They simply made pedals like the British companies in the 60s would have and as a result sort of organically advertised NOS stuff.
Frankly, if an engineer from the 60s knew the quality of the parts we had today and found out we were using crusty pulls from tape machines or NOS stuff, they smack us upside the head Homie the Clown style.
